Late 19th Century Swedish Boat Shaped Salting Trough.
A most pleasing birch salting trough, carved from a tree with the grain running lengthwise and following the shape of the branch, hence the most attractive proportions. It would make an ideal fruit container for the table. The whole has a pleasing two tone colour and patination.
Swedish Circa 1880.
