Rebuilt, 1881, Steinway & Sons Model D concert grand piano with a burr walnut case and brass fittings. The music desk is an arabesque cut-out design of stylised foliage with a central lyre motif. The piano legs are fluted, barrels with bun feet and a carved, stylised sunflower at the top. The serpentine piano cheek features dual linear mouldings that wrap around the cabinet base.
