A pair of Antique Silver George II Sauce Boats made in London in 1742 by Joseph Sanders. The sauce boats stand on three trefoil capped hoof feet with shaped undulating borders and cast flying scroll handles. Underneath they still retain their original scratch weights. They are in good condition, and will hold between the two just over a pint of gravy or sauce (600ml).
