George V Royal Artillery Cigarette Case, 1934.

8.4cm (3.7in) x 6.5cm (2.2in).

Silver and enamels. Rectangular case, the sprung hinged lid set with the Royal Artillery zig zag stripe and applied with a silver RA gun badge and motto scrolls ‘Ubique’ (Everywhere) and ‘Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt’ (Where faith and glory lead). Gilt interior inscribed. Engine turned decoration to the back. Maker’s mark of JWB. Hallmarked 1934.
