Chinese canton enamel winepot, Qianlong (1736-95), of lobed hexagonal form with curved spout and tall loop handle, the body decorated with a continuous scene of ladies and children at play within a pavillion garden amongst bamboo, rockwork, and butterflies, all between two bands of scrolling foliage against a blue ground, with further different coloured grounds with scrollwork to the top of the body, neck, spout and handle; height: 17cm. (5/8in.); condition: restored.
