Antique Silver George III Salver.
A beautiful large Georgian silver bead edge salver made in London in 1787 by Elizabeth Jones. This very fine salver still retains its original coat of arms to the front and on the reverse the words Ex Dono are written which is the Latin for gift of, indicating that it was given as a present - quite possibly as a wedding gift. It is in superb condition and was made in the year the first ships were sent out to Botany Bay in Australia.
