Victorian Pearl and Diamond Buckle Brooch circa 1890.
A beautiful late Victorian brooch.
The old cut diamond and half pearl set brooch is designed as a circular buckle design. The brooch is closed set to the reverse of the pearls but with small holes to the back of each diamond allowing light through. It is in wonderful condition.
It is beautifully handmade and has a pin protector to the reverse to ensure the wearer is not harmed by the point of the pin. The brooch could be converted to a pendant if required.
