Lalaounis Lapis and Diamond Bombe Ring circa 1970.
A stylish lapis and diamond ring by Lalaounis.
This is a wonderful example of a ring from the famous house of Ilias Lalaounis the Greek society jewellers.
The ring has a finely carved lapis lazuli set to the centre in a bombe style, surmounted with a band of small diamonds set in platinum to each side. The carved detail is then echoed onto the shoulders in yellow gold. It is a great design reminiscent of the Art Deco era. It can be sized but with limitations due to the design.
Price Code C: £1000 - £2500.
Era Contemporary: 1960 onwards.
Measurements: Head Width: 13.5mm, Lapis length: 13.5mm, total diamond weight estimated 0.50 carats.
Ring Size: K 1/2 (UK) 5 1/2 (USA), 51 (EUR), this ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost but with limitations due to the design.
Hallmarks: Stamped A21 750 GREECE Lalaounis for 18ct gold.
