A realistically formed novelty brooch in the form of a hawk.

This stylish mid-century brooch has a finely enamelled head and a two colour gold body beautifully textured to represent the bird's feathers.

The brooch has a strong pin and a handmade safety catch.

Price Code: B, £500-£1000.

Era: Post-war, circa 1940 - 1960.

Measurements: Length 3.7cm; Weight 4.5g.

Hallmarks: Stamped 9ct Markers mark JG&S Hallmarked Birmingham 1954.
